firstshowing.netIf you're a fan of the big screen, as I am, then I think you'll agree with me that the blog Firstshowing.net is an essencial stop on the web when you want to know what's comming soon to a theatre near you.  I found Firstshowing.net while surfing the internet, looking for an online movie with which to pass the time.

At first glance the blog intrigued me, with it's bold reds and black menu bar, making it reach out to me.  I found this to be a good thing because once the site had my attention it compelled me to sample its content, which I found to be interesting and informative.  Consequently, I think you will too, that is if you are more interested in what is goings on in the film industry, rather than the latest gossip, which you can always catch up with on the latest primetime entertainment television shows like Access Hollywood.

Apparently my opinion is in good company because Firstshowing has received many accolades from well respected media outlets for its "comprensive" and "informative" reporting on the latest happenings in the film industry.  In addition, the blog reveals the inner workings of what it takes to bring a film to the cinema, a subject that is intensely detailed oriented, interesting.

Here, sneek a peek of Firstshowing.net:

Hello, my name is Jose.  I am the publisher of Tried It Myself, a blog about the things I've tried.

FYI.  The avatar that you see representing me is not actually a portrate of me (no kidding).  If you are familiar with the Spanish artist, Picasso, then you'll recognize that the avatar is a portrate of the artist in his earlier days.

I am a fan of his artwork, and thought it would be a nice addition to my user profiile
